New Delhi, August 26 Congress today authorised a three-member panel, which includes AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, to decide on the party candidate for the bypoll in Okhla Assembly constituency in the national capital.
Besides Wasnik and Dikshit, the other member of the panel, which has been authorised to select the candidate for the September 15 bypoll, is DPCC cheif J P Aggarwal.
This was disclosed by AICC General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi here.
The bypoll to the seat was necessitated after Okhla MLA Pervez Hashmi got elected to Rajya Sabha.
