New Delhi, December 20: The RSS today hit back at Congress General Digvijay Singh’s statement accusing it of links with “Hindu terror” his remarks are “baseless” and were an “attempt to divert” attention from the “misdeeds” of the ruling party.
Alleging that Congress has been making “baseless allegations”, RSS Sarkaryavahak Bhaiyyaji Joshi said whenever the party has found itself to be in a difficult situation, it has tried to make stinging allegations against RSS.
“The statement of Digvijay Singh is irresponsible and completely without any basis in fact. It is far from truth and entirely fallacious. Being besieged on all sides because of its own misdeeds, Congress has levelled these allegations to divert the attention,” he said.
The statement was issued on the sidelines of a function to release Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy’s book titled ‘Hindutva and National Renaissance’.
