Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister, Mr. T. Harish Rao claimed that during the past two days maximum number of digital transactions was held in Siddipet. In this context Siddipet has become the first place in the entire country for transacting business without involving cash. Siddipet is moving forward in online transactions.
Mr. Harish Rao told that in City areas, there are transactions of property tax, electricity bill, registration of lands, RTO license and Civil Supplies Dept. He also mentioned that in rural areas all the transactions including purchase of Paddy to buying articles in kiran shop are being held without involving cash. Govt. made an attempt to introduce cashless transactions with the help of banks. During the past 10 days in Siddipet Assembly Constituency, 2,83,843 online transactions were held in Siddipet.
