Wipro chairman Azim Premji on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for Digital India is a very powerful one and added that it is the first step towards empowering citizens with technology.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Digital India Week’ at Indira Gandhi indoor stadium in the national capital today with a view to empower the people of the country through the Digital India programme.
Digital India aims to transform the country into a digitally empowered knowledge economy.
The vision of Digital India programme also aims at inclusive growth in areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities etc. (ANI)
