AICC general secretary inc-charge of two Telugu States’ Congress party affairs Digvijay Singh has charged Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu respectively with abandoning former chief minister late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s developmental and welfare schemes to the wind.
Participating in Dr YSR’s 67th birth anniversary celebrations held at Indira Bhavan here on Friday, Digvijay Singh paid floral tributes to YSR’s portrait. Speaking on the occasion, he praised the services of the YSR on the occasion. Slamming both Telugu states Chief Ministers, Digvijay alleged that both were turned as anti-farmer and anti-poor. Both the Chief Ministers were striving for their selfish ends giving top priority to the corporate companies, he claimed.
TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC working president Bhatti Vikramarka and Leader of Opposition in the Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir participated in the program. (NSS)
