Hyderabad, January 14: The digging work across the city by municipal and water works department in the name of construction and developmental works has made it difficult for the people to move across. MBT division incharge of Riyasat Nagar Mr. M A Habeeb alleged that the concerned corporators and MLAs just to get commission are spending the government budget recklessly.
He claimed that using his foresightedness late Mr. Mohammad Amanullah Khan had laid such modern waterline and sewerage line in Chandrayangutta assembly constituency which can last for years.
But needlessly the digging works is carried out in that area which is extravagance of government budget. The patch work has not been done even after 6 months due to which school vans and other vehicles get stuck into the dugouts.
Mr. M A Habeeb appealed chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to form a special committee and direct probe into the matter.
