Differences between GHCC & RRCC leaders surface

Hyderabad: Differences among the Congress leaders of Greater Hyderabad unit came out on Monday.
The differences between the followers of the Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president Danam Nagender and Uppal former MLA Bandari Raji Reddy came out when Danam participated in a Congress party Foundation Day celebrations held at Uppal. The followers of the both the leaders entered into a jostling for a while. The police intervened and controlled the situation by sending them away from the scene. The followers of Ranga Reddy district DCC president Kyama Mallesh tried to assault Danam Nagender.
Speaking to the media later, Danam Nagendar said nobody attacked him but only a jostling took place between two local groups. Stating that differences between two groups were very common in the party, Danam said they would sort out the differences by sitting across the table.
Ranga Reddy District Congress Committee leaders protested after arrival of Danam Nagender at the venue arguing that Danam Nagendar was the president of Hyderabad District Congress Committee and not of Ranga Reddy district unit. They also raised slogans against Danam Nagender. Ranga Reddy District Congress cadre hurled rotten eggs at Danam when he tried to hoist party flag ignoring slogans of the Ranga Reddy district party cadre. (NSS)
