Did PM Modi ignore Advani at Biplab Deb’s swearing-in ceremony?

Agartala: Bhartiya Janta Party State President, Mr. Biplab Kumar Deb took oath as the Chief Minister of Tripura whereas Jishnu Dev Burman took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of the State on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the swearing-in ceremony.

According to the report published in Jantaka Reporter, other persons who attended the oath taking ceremony include BJP leaders LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, BJP President Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh. When PM Modi arrived on the stage, he responded to the greetings. However, few Twitterati alleged that Prime Minister ignored senior BJP leader, LK Advani.

In the video, he can be seen greeting leaders on the stage. He even had a conversation with former Tripura Chief Minister, Manik Sarkar. However, he did not talk to Advani.

After the video went viral on social media, Twitterati started reacting. One of the netizens said, ” One thing I didn’t liked in the video that elder leader like #AdvaniJi is standing with folded hands, @narendramodi ji shud have turned n shud have greeted him, shows arrogance! Not expected frm a leader like #NaMo “. Here are other few reactions of Twitterati.
