Did the city lose humanity? Questions a disabled rain victim

With slight rain the roads of the city turn into streams and filthy drainage water overflows from the manholes. Not only that the commuters have a tough time walking on overflowing roads, the rain water adds to the woes of disabled persons too.

You can see a disabled person in Chandrayangutta wading through ankle deep water with all his might. Both his legs have been paralyzed due to polio and he is unable to walk. The man, aged around 25-30 year was helplessly wading through the water and no one came forward to help this disabled man until our correspondent reached there and caught the scene into his camera. Only then their compassion rose and they rushed to help the disabled man cross the road.

Later the hapless man told that he was struggling to reach a shade for nearly half an hour and was fully drenched by the rain. Everyone reached a shady place to save themselves from rain but the heartless people didn’t even bother to have a look on a handicapped person. He said our city was not like this in the past. Did the city lose humanity? He asked.
