Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy today said that diagnostic centers will prove handy as they diagnose the health problems and prevent future diseases through early detection. He was replying to queries of the members Jeevan Reddy, Kamalakar, P Ajay Kumar and Srinivas Goud on health during question hour in the Assembly on Tuesday. The minister said that as per the ideas of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao they have planned to open up diagnostic centers to serve in all districts and towns.
The people are spending more on to diagnose the health problems and unable to take proper treatment he said. To prevent this the diagnostic centers will provide them necessary services and offer better healthcare services he said. He admitted that the government hospitals are unable to provide better health services as they lack needed equipment to diagnose. However KCR launched Telangana Diagnostic centers to address the problem he said adding that Rs 70 cr spent for procuring latest equipment machinery to address all health problems and diseases. (NSS)
