Argentina produced a dominant performance as they outclassed their South American opponents Paraguay 6-1 to reach the Copa America final.
Marcos Rojo put Argentina ahead from Lionel Messi’s free-kick in the 15th minute before Javier Pastore doubled the lead 12 minutes later.
Lucas Barrios pulled one back for Paraguay shortly before half-time, but then Angel Di Maria quickly scored twice to give the Messi-led side a commanding 4-1 lead in the 53rd minute.
Subsequently, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero headed in a fifth in the 80th minute before Gonzalo Higuain completed the rout three minutes later. Messi played an instrumental role as the captain, providing three assists to lead from the front.
Argentina will now face hosts Chile and will look to bag their first South American title since 1993 in the final on Saturday. (ANI)
