Hyderabad, September 14: Mr. Abdus Sattar Mujahid, president, Indian Union Muslim League, A.P. Branch led the agitation and Dharna programme against the Municipal authorities for constructing a road in front of Dargah Hazrath Hakeem Shah Baba behind Apollo hospital in Jubilee Hills area. Dharna was staged in front of the office of the Director, Archaeology at Gunfoundry. He demanded that the work relating to the construction of a road should be stopped immediately as it is being done in connivance with the land grabbers. He further demanded that a boundary wall should be constructed around the Dargah so that no land grabber should dare to usurp the Wakf Land in future.
Present on the occasion were Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan of MPJ, Mr. Nayeemullah Shareef, President NRI Forum, Mr. Mujahid Hashmi, Peoples Action Committee, Mr. Laiq Ali, convener, Muslim League, Mr. Saleem Baig and Mr. Shaik Baba.
Mr. Abdus Sattar Mujahid stressed upon the Director, Archaeology to visit the spot immediately as this land is very valuable and it should protected from land grabbers.
