Director General of Police Anurag Sharma reviewed the security arrangements for the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project on Tuesday in a meeting attended by senior police and Metro Rail officials.
ADG (Railways & Road Safety) Krishna Prasad gave a detailed presentation on the security implications of Metro Rail Project.
All requirements were discussed threadbare and it was decided to deploy train, manpower for the security of the project. It was proposed to have 5 ‘A’ Category PS, 12 ‘B’ Category PS and 48 Outposts along the Metro corridor. It was also decided that the state of art equipment and gadgets will be used to ensure the safety and security of the people and the Metro Project. (INN)
