Andhra Pradesh former Director General of Police P Ramulu said Andhrite leaders and investors have ignited communal fire in Telangana especially Hyderabad for their political gains. He further said these incidents directly affected poor and general public majority of whom were Muslims. Mr. P Ramulu alleged Andhrite leaders’ direct or direct involvement in effecting unparalleled communal harmony of Telangana. He blamed them of toying with Telangana Urdu and Telugu and promoting Andhrite Telugu. Andhrite leaders were recruited in abundance on linguistic basis and Telangana Urdu and Telugu speaking people were deprived of jobs.
Andhrite leaders purchased lands in the city outskirts at the cost of Rs. 1 lakh per acre from local farmers at outer Ring Road and Expressway and now the market value of those land is 1 to 2 crore per acre.
Mr. Ramulu declared Asif Jahi era as the abode of joint culture. Andhrite leaders and investors changed the culture and heritage to encroach upon Hyderabad city.
He said measures to ensure justice to SC, ST, BC and other minority communities including Muslims who suffered excesses and injustices for past 55 years are inevitable.
