In order to examine in detail the demand for relocating 14th Battalion (IR), Tadipatri to Anantapur, the Director General of Police has formed a committee consisting of IGP (welfare), IGP (APSP Battalion), UMO/SAR CPL, Secretary (Arogyabadratha) and a consultant (expert in chest and respiratory diseases).
S A Huda, spokesperson and Additional DG (L&O) said that the members will visit Tadipatri and examine threadbare in an holistic approach taking the entire gamut of setting up the 14th Battalion at the present location or not, by talking at length with the personnel of 14th Battalion as well as the Association Representatives and the locals and People’s Representatives. The ADGP (APSP Battalion) will be submitting the report soon, he added. (NSS)
