TDP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP T. Devendar Goud on Tuesday claimed that lakhs of families were languishing with daily income of Rs 17.
Goud observed that the government’s attitude was not proper towards fee reimbursement and the Cabinet sub-committee report was highly objectionable. He also alleged that the State government was trying to keep the poor students away from Engineering, Medical and professional colleges in the State. He wanted the State government to withdraw the Ministers’ sub-committee decisions and continue the fee reimbursement to all the eligible students. (NSS)
