TJAC Chairman Prof M Kodandaram has said that it was not correct to say that the state was developed when revenue was developed. If quality of life develops then only called that was development, he explained.
Participating in CPI party’s conference on district comprehensive development held here on Wednesday, Kodandaram said that the development was possible only when people avail facilities of education and health easily and the development means the people gets drinking water and irrigation water adequately. He alleged that the farm labourer becoming daily wage labourer asking the state government to provide an opportunity to the farmers to get self sustained revenue. He expressed doubts on growing fish and distribution of sheep. (NSS)
