The Deputy Chairman of Karnataka Planning Commission has expressed his desire to prepare a separate developmental plan for states’ minorities. If it is approved, it would be first time in the history of India.
Speaking to Urdu media here recently, Mr. CM Ibrahim said that first time the state has a Muslim as deputy chairman of the State Planning Commission (SPC). “I performed well when I was minister in the Union government. I have vast experience. I will try to excel myself in fulfilling duties as deputy chairman of SPC,” he said and added that he would organize a state level minorities conference in September.Courtesy:Karnataka Muslims
