Development of Muslims in Educational field guarantees in other sectors

If the Muslims progress in the field of education, they can find a prominent place in other sectors also. If the educational status of the Muslims is reviewed, it will be noticed that there is adequate awareness about education among the Muslims of south India. There are many educational institutions in A.P., Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This situation is deplorable in North India where the Muslim population is larger than South India. These thoughts were expressed by Dr. Aziz Quraishi, former of Uttarakhand. He stressed the need for the North Indian Muslims to establish their own educational institutions.

Prof. Akhtarul Wasey, Commissioner for Linguistic Minorities told that the Muslims also have equal opportunities in the development of the country which they must utilize fully. Dr. Faizan Mustafa, VC of NALSAR Law University told that there is a vacuum of Muslim Lawyers since most of the Muslims do not show interest in joining Law colleges. Prof. Shameena Shafeeq, Vice Chairperson of National Commission for Women told that wearing Hijab is no way hindering the Muslim girls in getting education. Mr. T.P. Ahmed, General Secretary of All India Muslim Educational Society assured his cooperation for the expansion of educational activities of the Muslims. Dr. Khwaja Mohammed Shahid, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University mentioned various stages of establishment of a university and its All India jurisdiction. Dr. Javeed Jameel in his speech told that the Muslim community to come out of the inferiority complex. Mr. Zafer Javeed, Secretary of Sultan-ul-uloom Educational Society told that Minorities Educational Institutions are facing a lot of difficulties these days. He stressed the government who come their rescue. Mr. Mohammed Shah Alam Rasool Khan, Chairman of Shadan Educational Society told that many Muslim students with lower ranks in EAMCET are getting seats in Minority medical colleges.

Awards of excellence were given to Sultan-ul-Uloom Educational Society, Shadan Educational Society, Jamia Nizamia, Darul-Uloom, Hyderabad, Nasar school, Osmania College, Kurnool, Dr. Raheemuddin Kamal and Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbeer.

Mr. Asif Pasha, former Law Minister, Government of A.P. and President of Muslim Education Society of A.P. and Telangana presided over the function. Mr. M.S. Farooq, General Secretary of Society in his welcome address demanded the Government of Telangana to grant permanent affiliation to recognized schools. Mr. Abid Siddiqui conducted the meeting.
