Terming the formation of Andhra Pradesh state as the great loss for Muslims, Fazal Ali Commission had clearly indicated fears of injustices and discrimination to the people of Telangana after the forced merger of Telangana and Andhra. The Indian Union consciously ignored it and formed Andhra Pradesh on linguistic basis which directly affected Muslims of Telangana region. Mr. Dilip Kumar Telangana Rashtra Lok Dal leader and MLC told this while discussing the injustices faced by Muslims after the merger.
Mr. Kumar informed that Muslims’ participation in government departments, state administration and private sector was almost 40 pc before Andhra Pradesh formation. But on the basis of lack of knowledge of English language Andhrite leaders ousted Muslims from all fields. They also conspired against joint culture of Hyderabad. He also blamed Andhrite leaders for spreading hatred among Hindus and Muslims by presenting historical facts in wrong way. Andhrite leaders distorted historical incidents for their own vested interest.
Mr. Dilip Kumar declared development during Asif Jahi era as the exemplar to the whole world. He advocated reservations to Muslims proportionate to their population to eliminate injustices done to Muslims during last 60 years. The responsibility of doing justice to Muslims lies on all local and national parties to begin it with general elections 2014.
