Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, BJP leader and former union minister Daggupati Purandeshwari today reiterated that Seemandhra development is possible only with the BJP.
She was addressing party workers before launching election campaign in the district. Another former union minister and actor Krishnam Raju also shared the dais with Purandeshwari, which was attended by Seemandhra BJP president K Haribabu and others.
She alleged that Congress party had murdered democracy and violated the constitution for bifurcation of the state. If the country was to progress, BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has to come to power at the centre, she said.
Purandeshwari further alleged that the Congress has rendered injustice to Seemandhra region and deceived its people. Package for Seemanmdhra was announced due to the pressure from the BJP, she said.
She appealed to the people to vote for those parties which forged an alliance with BJP in the elections.
On the occasion, Krishnam Raju said the people of the country wanted to see Modi as Prime Minister, as they have faced several problems during the ten years rule of the congress party.(NSS)
