Johannesburg: Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who recently made his debut in the Europa League clash against Danish side Midtjylland, has admitted that he is keen to continue his crazy form which he had shown during his side’s 3-2 win over title-chasing Arsenal in the Premier League.
The 18-year-old made a dream debut as he scored twice in United’s 5-1 win over Midtjylland before again notching a brace against Arsenal on Sunday.
Jubilant with his performance, Rashford said that it was bonus for him to score two goals in his first game of the Premier League, insisting that he hopes to continue with his current form in the upcoming matches as well, Sport24 reported.
Rashford saw his debut after forward Anthony Martial was forced to withdraw due to a hamstring injury.
The teenage goal machine believes that playing in midweek had probably benefitted him as he was not thinking too much about the game.
The Louis Van Gaal-led side, which are currently fifth in league standings, will now lock horns with Watford on Thursday. (ANI)
