Various political, social and other Minorities organizations staged dharna programme from 11 am to 5 pm at Indira Park to record protest on the destruction of Wakf Properties in the state. These organizations represented their demands to state and Central Governments in a forceful and effective way to pressurize them for solving the Wakf proboems.
Mr. Aziz Pasha, MP stressed the need to make select committee proposals more effective. A dharna programme was scheduled for 22nd March at Jantar Mantar Road, New Delhi.
The other speakers were Mr. Mohammed Yousuf (CPI) Mr. Raheemullah Khan Niyazi (TDP) Mr. Tariq Quadri (Sofi Academy) Mr. Hamid Hussain Shuttari & Mr. Mohammed Afzal (Cova), Mr. M.A. Farooq (T.M.S. Front) Mr. Nusrath Mohiuddin (CPI) Mr. Sanaullah Khan (IPS) and Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri also spoke on this occasion. All the speakers demanded that the amended Wakf Bill should be made acceptable to all the Muslims.
