Former Rajya Sabha M.P. of CPI, Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha told that for the destruction of wakf properties in the entire State, Govt. of A.P. is responsible. He told that Wakf Board has completely failed to protect wakf properties. He blamed that lakhs of acres of Wakf land has been converted into the private properties of Seema Andhra capitalists. He further pointed out that the lands belonging to Dargah Hazrath Husain Shah Wali, Dargah Hazrath Ishaq Shah Madani, Dargah Hazrath Jahangir Peera and Dargath Hazrath Babu Sharfuddin have been allotted to Seema Andhra capitalists and corporate companies at nominal prices. Govt. has totally failed to protect Muslim graveyards and open places registered under wakf act. He alleged that in Fatehnagar area of Medak district, land grabbers are dumping garbage on the open land and hatching conspiracies to usurp wakf land for which the local communist leaders have been representing.
Mr. Aziz Pasha told that State Govt., Dept. of Minorities Welfare and Wakf Board should be serious in protecting wakf lands so that these properties could be developed to raise the economic status of the Muslim.
