‘Desi Wax Museum’ in Ludhiana is leaving people confused

Ludhiana: Prabhakar’s Wax Museum in Ludhiana has left Twitter users confused. The news agency ANI on Sunday reported that the wax museum has installed around 52 wax statues of personalities like APJ Abdul Kalam, Barack Obama, Mother Teresa, Sachin Tendulkar and others.

Chandra Shekhar Prabhakar had set up the museum at his home in 2005 in Model Town after he made a visit to Madame Tussauds and decided to open his own wax museum.

And this is how Twitter reacted:

Prabhakar had told Times of India as to why his statues don’t match their counterparts in London.

“At Madame Tussauds wax museum, they have access to celebrities and they make their statues from measurements taken from real faces and figures. But I make these statues from single dimension pictures, which is a challenging job. The museum is my contribution within my limited resources,” News18 quoted Prabhakar as saying.
