Deccan Wakf Protection Society conducted the public meeting at Masjid Tek, Nampally to formulate a common action plan for the protection of Wakf properties in Telangana region. Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, former CPI member of Rajya Sabha Presided over the meeting. He told that many Wakf Properties have been damaged because of the silence of the Muslim Community and to trust blindly the so called Muslim Leaders. Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, IPS, Special Officer of A.P. State Wakf Board is taking necessary action against the persons responsible for damaging wakf properties. Mr. Aziz Pasha told that all actions of Mr. Iqbal will receive support.
Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Al Hajri, President of Deccan Wakf Properties Protection Society gave the details of the wakf properties which have been damaged and illegally occupied.
Mr. Feroz Khan, Congress leader told that he is very much impressed with the activities of the Society and promised to extend his support. Mr. Mohammed Yousuf (TRS), Mr. Mohammed Saleem (TDP), Mr. Khoda Sudheer Parkala (AAP), Mr. Abdul Mannan (CPI) and others also addressed the gathering. Mr. Urooj Ali, Mr. Azhar Pasha Qadri, Mr. Abdul Basith participated in the meeting. Mr. Syed Kareemuddin Shakeel, Advocate conducted the meeting.
