Hyderabad, June 8: Land grabbers have all set to sell plots by doing plotting on a waqf graveyard land by desecrating graves at old graveyard at Attapur.
On receipt of the information of beginning of construction by land grabbers on graveyard premises by leveling the graves, officials of Deccan Waqf properties protection society, Mr. Osman bin Mohammad Alhajari, Mr. Kareemuddin Shakeel advocate, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Basit secretary society visited Waqf board chairman Mr. Ghulam Afzal Biabani alias Khusro Pasha and chief executive officer Mr. Habeebuddin Ahmed and made representation demanding strict legal action against the land grabbers.
When the Waqf board chairman sent task force team for inspection, the team was taken by surprise to see that the land grabbers have not only begun construction daringly but are using the stones of graves for construction.
Waqf board team soon halted the construction and assured society officials that they will write letters to district collector Rangareddy, RDO Rangareddy, Municipal Commissioner and police commissioner Cyberabad to take action under GO Ms no 374/2002.
