Desecration of graves continues in the city. In the matter of desecration of graves, some elements who claim to be serving the community, have gone to such extent that they are constructing community halls on the graves in graveyard. They enjoy complete support of Municipal Corporation. One such graveyard is Hazrat Syed Abadullah Shah Quadri, Bagh-e-jahan Ara near Dabeerpura, where there is no place for graves but a community hall is being constructed on the representation of respective MLA. 5 shops are also being constructed to eliminate political unemployment. When objected, their reply is that the municipal corporation is constructing a building with the cost of Rs. 10 lakh to store construction material for digging and construction of graves at the time of burials.
On the direction of Mr. Zahed Ali Khan editor Siasat, president Deccan Waqf Property Protection Society Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Alhajari visited the graveyard only to find the construction work in full swing. On the representation of the society chief executive officer Waqf Board directed Minority Welfare Department and Principal Secretary GHMC to take immediate action. But no action has been taken on department level. In this situation Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Alhajari has decided to take the matter to the court.
