Hajj Committee of India Mumbai has called for applications from the eligible Muslim government servants to be appointed on deputation as Khadim-ul-Hujjaj (Hajj volunteers) during Hajj 2015. In a press note Prof. S A Shukoor Special Officer Telangana State Hajj Committee stated besides government servants, employees of institutions of public departments, constitutional institutions, police men, home guards, forest department and revenue department can also apply on or before April 27. Candidates must be aged between 25 and 50, they must have performed Hajj, they must possess International Passport with validity up to March 31, 2016. Separate volunteers will be deputed from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Prof. S A Shukoor further told that one volunteer would be sent for every 300 pilgrims. Candidates should have good command over Arabic language and knowledge of Hajj affairs.
