Hyderabad, October 21: State government has initiated measures to improve communication among officials by equipping the police department with modern paraphernalia and communication system so that the police force can be given powerful and effective stand in other contingencies besides naxal terror.
State government has decided to arm police officials with modern devices and facilities. For that reason it has been decided to provide them with satellite phones with BGAN terminals, thermal imager and monoculars.
The SAT phone provides facilities to the consumer directly through satellite moreover it contains internet facilities too.
Another modern tool will be thermal imager which can be functional in smoke, darkness and other situations like these.
The third modern equipment that will be provided to police force will be a telescope which is functional in the darkness of the night through which the gesture and posture movements can be observed easily and clearly from afar.
