Dept. of Minorities Welfare is devoid of Urdu Knowing officers

There is not a single Urdu-knowing official in the Department of Minorities Welfare of Govt. of A.P. due to which important issues of the Minorities are not being resolved.

Mr. Mohammed Kazim Ali Khan, President of Ambedkar National Congress in a press statement made this remark. He told that earlier, Urdu knowing Principal Secretary, Deputy Secretary or Assistant Secretary used to be posted in the Department of Minorities Welfare. The Section Officer who knows Urdu should be appointed in this department. He expressed his opinion that non-Urdu knowing officials have no interest in our problems

He expressed that non-Urdu knowing officials have no interest in the problems of the Minorities. Matters relating to Hajj, Wakf, non-Urdu knowing officials do not know promotions of Urdu language. If these officials are posted, it is not expected that they would sympathize with these issues.

The instructions, which are sent by the office of the Chief Minister, are also thrown in dustbins.

If the officers are well versed with the issues relating to intention of Wakf, promotion of Urdu language, they will be in a position to discharge their duties in the Department successfully. He demanded the Govt. of A.P. to post Urdu-knowing staff in the office of the Chief Minster and also in the Department of Minorities Welfare.
