Upset over death of popular TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee aka ‘Anandi’ a fan committed suicide in Chhattisgarh, media reported.
A married woman identified as 26-year-old Madhu Mahanand hanged herself with the ceiling fan in her bedroom in Ram Nagar locality in Raipur on Wednesday.
She committed suicide in front of her two-year old son.
Madhu was extremely depressed after Pratyusha’s suicide news broke on April 1and was continuously watching news channels to follow the case, reported the Times of India.
The 24 year old actress was found hanging from the ceiling at her flat in Bangur Nagar in suburban Kandivli
It is being said that actress who got popularity after playing Anandi role in Balika Vadhu was depressed from quite some time.
Reports further say that she was having some issues with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
Rahul was detained by the Mumbai Police on
Saturday, April 2 for investigating him in the alleged suicide case of his girlfriend and Television actress
