Deposed Rajaiah meets KCR

Deposed deputy chief minister Dr Tatikonda Rajaiah today called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Camp Office. Rajaiah had to go on a Jerusalem trip as he could not get an appointment from his KCR in recent times.
Rajaiah was closeted with the Chief Minister for some time and offered apologies for the episode of corruption and irregularities that led to his ouster. In the meeting, Rajaiah said to have informed that he was ready to face any sort of inquiry as he did not indulge in such malpractices. Before embarking on his foreign trip, Rajaiah had admitted himself to Apollo Hospitals for a “mild stroke and chest pain”. This evoked criticism that to avoid an inquiry on the corruption charges, Rajaiah went to the hospital and then a foreign jaunt for solace.
It may be recalled that Rajaiah was expelled from the KCR cabinet and another SC leader and MP Kadiam Srihari was given his post. (NSS)
