Departure of AP, TS Hajj pilgrims ends

The departure of Hajj pilgrims through State Hajj Committee ended on Monday with 83 aspirants setting off from Mumbai for Jeddah. Saudi Airlines had arranged flight from Mumbai for the pilgrims who were selected at the last moment from the waiting list. Two special flights were arranged for the aspirants of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh besides those of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh selected from the waiting list.

State Committee had arranged Volvo buses to shift the Hajj aspirants to Mumbai. 42 aspirants set off for Jeddah through Saudi Airlines in the early hours of Monday while the remaining set off through the evening flight.

Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that the departure of Hajj pilgrims of India has ended. He also informed that all the Hajj aspirants of state Hajj committee have performed Umrah and are now waiting for Hajj days.
