Hyderabad: All India Professionals’ Congress national president and MP Shashi Tharoor today alleged that demonetization of big currency notes destroyed the nation’s economic system. He opined that the price of petrol was increasing speedily due to Centre’s high taxes.
Participating in a talk on ‘Endangered Democracy’ here on Tuesday evening, Tharoor lamented that the people were not in a position to bear the increasing petro prices. He asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi as to why he was not answering to the questions raised by the Opposition parties when no irregularities took place in Rafale deal. He said BJP and TRS parties colluded.
