Hyderabad: Currency crisis continues 36 days after demonetisation. 2 persons died in Andhra Pradesh while standing in bank queue. Stampede occurred at several places and 90 pc ATM centres are out of cash. Economists have predicted that the situation will continue for further 6 months.
Shaikh Maula Ali collapsed while standing in a queue at SBI Macherla in Guntur district. He died while he was being shifted to the hospital. In another incident an elderly woman Laxmamma collapsed and died while standing in a queue at Syndicate Bank, of Bangarupalem, Chittoor District. A man sustained injuries during pushing and shoving at ATM queue at Lingampally, BHEL.
