Rampur: Azam Khan, senior Samajwadi Party leader and UP Cabinet Minister stoked a fresh controversy. He said demolish Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and Taj Mahal.
According to the news published in Zee News, Azam Khan while addressing at a seminar in Raza Degree College said that Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and Taj Mahal should be demolished as these are the symbols of ‘slavery’. He said, “If the symbols of slavery are to be identified then the first monument will be Taj Mahal followed by the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament house constructed by the British India government.”
It is also reported that Azam Khan added, “Such big monument was a criminal waste of public money”.
