Hyderabad, February 01: In compliance with the call given by the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, Govt. employees staged dharna programmes in front of district collectorates in the state.
Yesterday JAC, BJP, TRS and other Pro-Telangana parties participated in the dharna programme. A large number of Govt. employees participated in the dharna programme. Leaders of TRS also expressed their solidarity with the employees. The speakers demanded the Govt. to fulfill its promises made to Telangana Employees’ Joint Action Committee.
Prof. Kodandaram and other leaders staged a dharna at Mahboobnagar collectorate. He warned the Govt. to stop threating the Govt. employees. He also demanded to withdraw all the cases against Govt. employees. He said that if the Govt. doesn’t fulfill its promise, a grand protest programme will be conducted in February 2012.
