Sirpur is an old Taluka of Adilabad district. It has almost all the district offices in it. There is a Govt. junior college in the town. There are two junior colleges for SC’s but Govt. is neglecting the sanction of Urdu medium junior college in this town. The minorities of this town are anxious about it. They are unable to comprehend why is Govt. delaying in starting Urdu medium parallel classes in Govt. junior college.
Minorities organizations of this town have made a representation to Regional Joint Director, Warangal. This representation is being made to the authorities for the past so may years but no action is being taken in this regard. The students of Bejur, Kotala and Sirpur Mandals are facing a lot of difficulty in going to far off colleges for getting education. The Muslim girls are facing inconvenience because of lack of any transport arrangement.
