Chairman of Telangana Resource Center, Mr. M. Veda Kumar demanded TRS Government of Telangana to include 4000 year history of Telangana. He told that the Andhra Rulers were biased against the history of Telangana as a result of which many historical places of Telangana were not known to the students. He was delivering presidential speech on the occasion of release of the book “Telangana Cultural Heritage” written by Prof. A. Satyanarayana of OU. He has compiled this book on 5 historical mountains and 7 ASI sites of Telangana. Mr. Veda Kumar further told that Telangana should get the status of World Heritage site. He also said that the periods of Shatavahana, Kakatiya, Qutub Shahi and Asif Jahi Dynasties should be included in the school curriculum. He demanded the govt. to establish a library in each district consisting of historical books and a museum in order to link the younger generation of Telangana with the history of this region.
