A meeting of All India Small Scale Industries Federation has demanded the C.M. to resolve the problems pertaining to Aided private school. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of committee, Mr. Syed Zainul Abidean Sayeed at Minorities Bhavan, Akbar Plaza at Malakpet yesterday. In the meeting it was said that on the one hand, Govt. talks of making education popular and it has also enacted Right to Education Act and crores of rupees are being allocated for this purpose. On the other hand, the tragic part of it is Govt. has stopped paying grand-in-aid to private aided schools. Due to this these schools are forced to close down. Despite the orders of the High Court, Govt. is not talking any action to release the grands. Mr. Zainul Abidean said that the delegation of the committee would meet the C.M. soon to present a memorandum. A campaign would be launched for creating awareness for all MLA’s , MLC’s and other political leaders. Eight representatives of Aided schools attended the meeting and expressed their grievances. Mr. Mohd Abdul Kareem (Nalagonda), Mr. Syed Sadiq Ali (Warangil), Mr. A. Srinivas (Khammam), Mr. Syed Noor Mohd Sarvar (Mahboob Nagar), Mr. Mohd Abdul Waheed of AVM school of Rajendra Nagar and other addressed the meeting. It was decided to hold another meeting so that more representatives of various could participate in it to prepare comprehensive memorandum and an effective strategy.
