Mr. Syed Yakhoob, Senior Advocate Clerk and former executive member of Advocates Clerks’ Association in a press statement issued yesterday demanded the Government to release Mr. Mohammed Abdul Qadeer, former Police Constable who has already completed his period of imprisonment. He questioned the Govt. why he is not being released even after the completion of his period of imprisonment. He asked the Home Minister and Chief Secretary whether they have any criminal law to keep a prisoner beyond the period of his imprisonment. They should point out the acts of constitutions of India to President of India and Prime Minister of India requesting them to issue orders to Governor of Telangana State for the release of Mr. Mohammed Abdul Qadeer. He appealed to President and Prime Minister to consider this case sympathetically and release Abdul Qadeer.
