Demand to publish Telangana Gazette separately

Mr. Meer Hadi Ali, President of All India Shia Organization demanded the Principal Secretary of the Dept. of Minorities Welfare to complete second survey report as early as possible and publish the same in a separate Gazette for Telangana. He pointed out that in the last survey report many wakf properties were not registered due to non submission of proper wakf records. Due to shortage of staff only 35 thousand wakf properties are being computerized at the instance of Govt. of India, whereas there is a record of 40, 000 registered wakf properties. This will not be published by Govt. of A.P. which will result in the loss to the Muslim community. He informed that many cases are being dismissed in High Court due to lack wakf records. He demanded the wakf board to computerize wakf records separately for Seema Andhra and Telangana regions.
