Mr. Habeeb-ur-Rahman, Chairman of Muslim United Front demanded the CM of A.P. Mr. Chandrababu Naidu to include a Muslim Minister in A.P. Cabinet. Mr. Naidu who claims a friend of the Muslims did not include any Muslim candidate in his cabinet.
Addressing a gathering of the Muslim youths in Vijaywada, Mr. Habeeb-ur-Rahman told that the Govt. of A.P. should issue a notification for scholarship to Muslim students studying in various colleges. He complained that notifications have been issued for SCs, STs and BCs but the Govt. of A.P. neglected the Muslims. He also demanded the Govt. of A.P. to establish a central institution for carrying out research in Unani medicine. He demanded for opening two Unani Medical Colleges in A.P. and a Unani Medical college in Vijayawada with attaches Unani Hospital. He also demanded for the constitution of Muslim Wakf Board and Minorities Commission in the State.
