(Siasat News) It is obligatory for every Muslim to help the Muslims of Assam. Communal elements have brutally killed the Muslims of Assam in an organized way in the name of Bangladeshis. Killings in Assam are still going on. Central and State Governments should come forward to protect the Muslims. If the Govt. is not in a position to control othe communal elements, army should be deployed so that the Muslims return to their homes. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat while showing the green flag to bus arranged by Indian Muslim Relief and Charities. Indian Muslims residing in California have sent medicines worth Rs. 3 lakh to the victims of Assam. The materials include milk powder and mosquito nets for children.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan while applauding the gesture shown by the Indian Muslims in America for sending a team of doctors along with medicines to Assam. He told that the Muslims are being targeted selectively. He informed that a three member team of Siasat is also touring the riot affected areas of Assam.
Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor, Siasat met the victims and got detailed information. He told that Siasat will make permanent arrangements for their rehabilitation. Referring to the atrocities, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that the miscreants have set ablaze the houses and attacked women and children. He strongly condemned the state Govt. and said that if it can’t control the communal elements, the state should hand over the riot hit areas to army.
Addressing to media persons, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that in order to be safe from the conspiracies of the communal elements, we should excel in the field of education. So long as we remain educationally backward our exploitation would continue by everyone. They will continue to play with our lives and belongings. Muslims can compete with any kind of communalism only through educations.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that Siasat’s team is reviewing Assam situation. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan met the Chief Minister of Assam Mr. Tarun Gogoi and demanded for the protection of the lives of the Muslims. He applauded the steps taken by Indian Muslim Relief and charities and said that whenever there are cruelties in any part of the world, the hearts of the Hyderabadi Muslims get disturbed and they shed tears for the victims and they rush to help their Muslim brethren.
Mr. Syed Abdul Najeeb (Hafiz Irfan) Project Manager of Indian Muslim Relief and Charities told that his organization is an N.G.O which is engaged in welfare and charitable activities. Its head office is in Palo Alto (California). He further told that this organization is active under the stewardship of Mr. Manzoor Ghouri. This organization extended its help for the flood victims of Kurnool irrespective of any caste or religion.
In Hyderabad, this organization is performing its activities under the guidance of its Executive Director Mr. Syed Aneesuddin and its treasurer Mr. Iftekharuddin Ghouri.
Mr. Abdul Najeeb told that be it earthquake in Kashmir, bomb blast in Malegaon, flood in Kurnool or Gujarat riots, this organization helped the victims. The chairman of the organization has expressed severe grief over the communal riots in Assam. These are the incidents which forced every sensitive individual shed tears.
This organization has sanctioned Rs. 28lakh for the Assam victims. In the beginning, this amount has been sent to wipe out the tears of the affected Muslims in Assam.
The van which carried relief materials include medicines, a team of doctors, office bearers of the organization and three drivers. It is hoped that this relief van will reach Assam in the next 48 hours.
This bus has specially been made for such works. A sum of Rs. 24 Lakh has been spent to make it convenient for the relief workers. This bus has many facilities in it, even it has a toilet and bathroom. Mr. Najeeb informed that Mr. Khaja Moinuddin who has entrusted the money for relief work, has proceeded to America.
The objectives of this organization include to help the victims, to seek justice and to ensure the prosperity of the Minorities.
Present on this occasion were Mr. Ali Bin Sayeed Katmi, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Shareef, Mr. Mohammed Iqbal, Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri and many others.
