A Delegation of CPI led by Dr. K. Narayana, Secretary, met Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Home Minister yesterday and demanded to convene an all party meeting to discuss the latest situation in the State arising out of Seema Andhra agitation against the formation of separate Telangana State. It was suggested that in the present situation, the Central Govt. should convene an all party meeting to elicit fresh opinion from all the political parties about the formation of separate Telangana State. Dr. Narayana clarified that CPI still holds the opinion in favour of formation of separate Telangana State. He informed the Home Minister about the latest of political situation in the State. He said that due to the declaration of Telangana State, many major political parties are in a state of confusion. In such a situation, it is the duty of the Central Govt. to obtain fresh opinion from all the political parties. It will then the clear as to which party is supporting Telangana issue. He informed about the efforts Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is making to stop the formation of separate Telangana State. It is very surprising that the Congress Chief Minister is opposing the decision of Congress High Command. Present on this occasion were: Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, former M.P. , Mr. D. Raja, M.P., Mr. P.J. Chandrasekhar, MLC, Mr. G. Mallesh, floor leader of CPI in Assembly, Mr.Ch.Venkat Reddy, M. Nageshwar Rao, Mr. K. Sambashiva Rao, Ms. A. Vanaja and Ms. K. Aruna.
