(Siasat News) Mr. Mohammed Minhaj Rahmath, Journalist, and others represented the Commissioner of Minorities Welfare Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal to represent the CM for the cancellation of roaster system for the appointment of Urdu Medium teachers. If this is done more than 900 Urdu medium teachers will be benefited. They represented that earlier exemption used to be given in DSc for Urdu medium vacancies. This has been the tradition of the Dept. of Education since it is impossible to get Urdu medium teachers from among S.Cs., S.Ts. and B.Cs. This tradition continue till 2006 but the Dept. of Education discontinued it later. Due to this a lot of Urdu medium qualified teachers are deprived of the posts. They recalled that cancellation of roaster system is not a new procedure. Only it has to be revived. The Commissioner of Minorities Welfare visited Medak district. A function was held at J.J. Garden Function Hall, Zaheerabad. The Commission was informed that the functioning of Minorities Finance Corporation is not satisfactory in the districts since it has not distributed a loan in the district. Bankers do not grant loans to Muslim youths. It is therefore impossible for Muslim youths to end poverty and unemployment. They suggested that Dept. of Minorities Welfare should represent to the Govt. to sanction Rs. 3 lakh for each unemployed youth from Minorities Finance Corporation without the involvement of bankers and without no prior conditions. Mr. Iqbal gave a patient hearing to the representations and assured to take sympathetic action.
