Hyderabad, May 28: In the recently held 12th edition of Annual International Muhaira Jashn-e-Bahar in New Delhi, a senior judge of Supreme Court of India Justice Markandey Katju demanded Bharat Ratan, award for Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib posthumously.
His demand was fervently supported by Lok sabaha speaker Meera Kumar and chief election Commissioner SY Qureshi.
Addressing the 12th edition of Annual International Muhaira Jashn-e-Bahar in New Delhi, Salman Khursheed, besides the cited personalities, said ‘like B R Ambedkar and Sardar Patel government should bestow the highest national award to Mirza Ghalib also.
