Deliveries in Govt Hospitals Go Up; Infant Mortality Rate Comes Down

Hyderabad: As a result of the implementation of KCR kit scheme, the percentage of deliveries in Government hospitals has increased from 33 to 49. At the time of formation of the State, the infant mortality rate was 39 oper 1,000. Today, it has come down to 28. The maternal mortality rate has come down from 91 to 70.
This was stated by the Chief Minister KCR in his Budget speech today. The other points made by the CM are:

Mission Baghiratha: So far, all the households in 19,750 habitations are receiving drinking water through the pipes fitted with taps. We are expecting to supply water to the remaining habitations by the end of April this year.

Double Bed-Room Houses: The Government so far sanctioned 2,72,763 houses.

KG to PG Education: We propose to establish 119 more residential schools for BCs.

Under TSiPASS single window system, so far 8,419 industrial units have been given all the permissions involving a total investment of Rs. 1.41 lakh Crore. With this, potential employment for 8.58 lakh people have been created.
