New Delhi: A woman got died due to 90 percent burns in Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital. The 27-year-old who hailed from Mathura, gave her statement to the police in which she said that her in-laws poured petrol on her and set her ablaze.
The woman had earlier gave a statement, where she said that she got burnt while cooking, in a hospital of Mathura. However, her family alleged that she gave her statement under pressure. The family approached the DCW for help. The DCW had filed a zero FIR in the case and forwarded the complaint to the Mathura police, reports India Today.
The victim got died while undergoing treatment in Safdarjung hospital, as she was brought in a fragile condition. The doctors said it was difficult to save her.
